Let Me Praise Him With Everything

Good morning mighty warriors of the faith. Today I want to remind you and encourage you of the goodness that is in our Lord. God is a great God, and there is nothing that is too big for God to handle, no news to great, no battle too hard to overcome. I’m here to remind you that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Our scripture this morning takes us to The Book of Psalms where David is reminding himself of the goodness and greatness of God. Read the verse of the day with me.

Psalm 103:2-5 (NLT)
Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.  My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

This is just a reminder of how great our God is no matter what is going on in life God is in control. Jesus says we need not to worry about tomorrow but to let tomorrow worry about itself seems a little tough when you’re going through struggles trials but God is the one who walks with us on our journey with him. Reach Out and take home of God’s hand and he will guide you through everything.

In The Shadow of The Almighty

Good morning mighty warriors of the faith. If you live in Texas like I do, you know that the weather can change really fast. There is a saying here in Texas that says, “wait 5 minutes and the weather will change”.  One thing we are known for is our hot summers. But one thing is true if you stand in the shade its allot cooler. Just like for our spiritual life, when We are close to God and We are in him he will remain in us. This brings us to our
Verse of the Day.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
Psalm 91:1 NIV
If we would just bask in the shade of Our Lord, there is where we will find our rest. Our days are tough enough as it is and life is just sometimes really hard, so the best thing for us to do is to be in the Lord all the time. For it is in those times that we will find our rest from Our Daily Grind. When we come to God we find ourselves changed in different ways, we even want to do things differently, but it’s because we are in the shadow of God’s love. Today I want to encourage you that being in God is the best. Today seek to follow God throughout your day and let the light of God shine on you so that you can find rest.

Be blessed today chaplain Fernando Charles.

God Will Protect You

Good morning mighty warriors of the faith. Today I want to share with you about God’s protection. In the stress of life or in the trials of life many of us feel vulnerable and we try to protect ourselves, but I want to encourage you today of the promise that is found in God’s word that God will protect us. Read with me our Verse of the Day.
“The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
Psalm 121:7-8 NIV
You see not only does God protect us but he protects us forever more. I love this promise it’s just another way God shows us how much he loves us. Today know that you are protected by a great God who loves you and wants the best for you. Today as you go through your day be blessed.

Let It Rain

Good morning mighty warriors of the faith. If you live in San Antonio like I do you would know that we are receiving tons of rain.  Honestly I love all the rain that we are receiving from the Lord. I know a lot of people are bothered by the rain I know too much rain can do alot of damage but today I wanted to encourage everyone that the rain that we are receiving is a gift from God. Read with me are verse of the day.
Psalm 147:8 (NLT)
“He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures.”
You see God is blessing us with rain he is filling creeks and rivers that were dry and now they are filled to the top and even running over. This is such a blessing for our land. But at the same time God blesses us abundantly and our cup overflows this is just a great picture of what God is doing for us. I don’t know about you but I love all this rain. Carl and was thirsty now it’s all green. Today on this Thursday it is my prayer that you be safe and that you remember that God continues to bless us abundantly. Today enjoy the rain in Jesus name.
Have a blessed day today chaplain Fernando Charles.

No More Death, Tears, or Pain

Good morning mighty warriors of the faith.  One of the toughest parts of my job is to let the offender’s know when someone in their family has passed away. Usually I take two to three calls a day and one day here recently it was 10. Many of you reading this today may have lost a family member before. This is for you because I wanted to encourage you about What God Says in his word. The Apostle John zig’s exiled on the island of Patmos where he receives a vision, a revelation of the things of God. Read with me today our encouraging
Verse of the Day.
“I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Revelation 21: 2-4 NIV
I share this promise with everyone that I meet who has lost a loved one. To me this promise is very important to understand because in the pain of losing a loved one this is the hope that we cling onto. God says no more death crying or pain in heaven. What a beautiful promise this is from God. I pray that as you reflect on the scripture today that you allow the promise of God’s word to bring you peace in your heart to know that God is in control and his plan for us is the best plan. Today I want you to know that we may suffer a little while here but God promises us that when we get to heaven there will be no more death no more crying and no more pain and if you’ve lost a loved one I want to encourage any of this great promise. Be blessed today chaplain Fernando Charles.
