Do Not Worry

Matthew 6:34 (MSG)

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

I don’t know about you but I worry a lot. I’m being very honest here today. In the grand scheme of things I have learned a very valuable lesson. Beginning today I will no longer worry about anything. By worrying about things I’m holding on to the things that only God can take care of .

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

God is the one that supposed to be handling all of these things in my life. But I’m breaking my head trying to do it on my own.  When I asked God in my life I asked him to take control of my life and if I hold on to what I’m going through or the situations I face then I’m not allowing God to work in me.   I THEN, AM DOING IT ON MY OWN STRENGTH.

Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

When we come together with God and God is working in us, his Grace is enough for us. Today remember this don’t worry let God take care of every situation in your life. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart today.

Pray:  Lord your word tells us, “to trust in your with all our heart”.  Help me today to trust you to take all these things in my life and you work them out. I’m trusting and putting my faith in you.

Blessings Chaplin Fernando Charles.

Attitudes of the Believer – In Relations to Christ

There are some terms which relate to the Christian life which are of pressing importance, because of the issues which are involved in relation to them. The following seven words indicate a few aspects of the Christian’s life, namely, “Believe,” “Pray,” “Abide,” “Walk,” “Take,” “Stand,” “Watch.”

  1.  To Believe on Christ is the Secret of the Christian life

 Galatians 2:20 (NASB)

    1. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me
  1. To Pray to Christ is the Stay of the Christian Life

Philippians 4:6 (NASB)

    1. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
  1. To Abide in Christ is the Strength of the Christian life

John 15:4New (NASB)

    1. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in me.
  1. To Walk as Christ is the Shining Out of the Christian life

1 John 2:6-9 (NASB)

The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Beloved, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard. On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining. The one who says he is in the Light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now.

1 Peter 2:21 (NASB)

For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps

  1. To Take From Christ is the Supply of the Christian life

Isaiah 27:5 (NASB)

    1. “Or let him rely on my protection, Let him make peace with Me, Let him make peace with Me.”
  1. To Stand With Christ is the Staple of the Christian life

Ephesians 6:14 (NASB)

    1. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
  1. To Watch For Christ is the Standing Order of the Christian life

Mark 13:33 (NASB)

    1.  “Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.

The term watchfulness is the comprehensive one. It signifies far more than merely holding the truth of the Lord’s Coming. It covers the whole trend of the spiritual life in the variety of its traits.

Does God Really Love Me?

God Loves You!
God Loves You!

John 3:16 (MSG)

16 “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

Sometimes we wonder, “does God really love me”?  Even when I feel no love at all.  Even when I constantly mess up.  I have heard it said many times, “Christ Jesus came to the world to save sinners, of who I and the worst of them”.   No matter how much we have sinned, God has so much love that will cover them all only if we come to him.  God can save even a murder, or a drug dealer.  The worst person you can imagine can receive God’s love and forgiveness by just asking for it.  Did you know that God even knows us by name.  Isaiah 43:1, “O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel; “fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name.  God is not just somebody up in the sky trying to knock you out, he loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.  In the scripture above put you name in the verse, God really loves you.  Today know what every you have done He forgives you.  Through Christ we are saved.

Pray:  Lord thank you for saving me and loving me.  For just knowing who I am.  A God who knows and loves and forgives his children. Your love is all I need.
