Four Prosperous Things for your Journey

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Did you know that God wants to give your everything you need?  God has a plan for each and everyone of us.  Let me share with you four prosperous things for your Journey with God.

1.  Prosperous Position“God has Prospered him”  1 Corinthians 16:2  Prosperity in this life is due to the good hand of the Lord.  Let us remember He expects a proportionate first fruit. Everything we have has been given to us by God, let us give back.

2.  Prosperous Journey – “I might have a Prosperous Journey”  Romans 1:10 (NIV)  “in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God’s will the way may be opened for me to come to you”.  The Lord goes before us to clear the road of difficulties, or He is with us to sustain us in them.  If He goes with us all is well.

3.  Prosperous Health3 John 1:2New (NIV)  “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well”.  The Lord is the Healer of the body as well as the Health of the Soul.

4.  Prosperous Soul3 John 1:2New (NIV)  “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well”.  Soul prosperity is the soul of all prosperity.

Today, walk with God let him guide you and lead you in his way.  His way is the best.  Blessings on Your Journey With God!

Pray:  Thank you god for all you provide for us.  Lead me today in the way you want me to go.  Amen

Hope in Suffering

Romans 5:3-4 (CEV)

But that’s not all! We gladly suffer, because we know that suffering helps us to endure. And endurance builds character, which gives us a hope.

I have heard it said and have been asked, “Why does God allow suffering in the world?”  Or, “If God is so powerful why doesn’t he just take it all away?”  When I’m asked that question, I share Romans 5:3-4.  When we suffer the scriptures tell us that suffering produces endurance.  Endurance is the ability to last or continue, through fatigue stress, or other adverse conditions.  We as Christians suffer most of the time because we are leaning on our own selves rather than on God.  Trust in the Lord with all your hear and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:5-6  But when we endure, , lean on God, endurance produces character.  We gain qualities of honesty, courage, and integrity.  In our suffering as we endure and gain character, we have hope.  Hope in Christ Jesus the Son of God, who died on the cross, the perfect lamb of God to take on the sins of this world.  Your sins and my sins.  Who rose from the dead on the third day, defeating death.  Who now sits on the right hand of the father. Preparing our home in heaven if we choose to accept him.  And he is coming back for those who have put their faith and trust in him.  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16  Today Know that Suffering produces, Endurance, and endurance produces Character and character produces Hope.  But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.  Psalm 9:18Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day longPsalm 25:5 We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.  Psalm 33:20
